About Mostly Modern Festival
The Mostly Modern Festival is a brand new summer festival that celebrates the music of our time. The focus of the festival is "mostly modern": music by living composers from around the world, with an occasional foray into the past. For participants wanting to apply to the institute, go here. Early Deadline for composers December 1st – singers, instrumentalists and conductors February 1st. Apply now and save up to $60!
There will be nine concerts open to the public, starting the week of June 4th, 2018. See the complete concert schedule here. Tickets go on sale in March.
The festival is ideally located in beautiful Saratoga Springs, New York, a world-renowned destination with an award-winning downtown.
New York, Boston, Montreal and Philadelphia are all within a three-hour drive. The festival takes place at Skidmore College and all the concerts are held at the Arthur Zankel Music Center.
