Carly Barnes, director of operations

Carly Barnes is a classically trained musician and current administrative professional. She is currently working for Mostly Modern Projects and previously worked as Office Manager for Sunburst Shutters and Window Fashions in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also has experience in retail management and administration work for Miss Shannon’s Music Studio in Batesville, Indiana. Before moving into her administrative roles, Carly completed her doctoral coursework in music theory at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and is working towards the completion of her dissertation. She also earned her Master of Music in both music theory and flute performance at CCM. She currently performs in the Barnes Duo with her percussionist husband, Micheal Barnes, and they enjoy commissioning and premiering new music together. She enjoys spending time with her family in Philadelphia when she is not working or performing.
