Join us as we celebrate American composers and America’s Grammy®-winning, first female conductor of a major orchestra, Maestro JoAnn Falletta of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Native New Yorker, Artistic Director, now Saratoga Springs resident Robert Paterson brings us the world premiere of his cinematic and colorful Journey of a Dragonfly. This afternoon’s performance will be rounded out by Aaron Copland’s rarely-performed suite from The Red Pony and a brand-new work by one of our festival composers.
