Anthony De Mare will demonstrate common and some not-so-common extended techniques used by pianists using a few examples from the repertoire De Mare has commissioned and performed. He will also focus on different works within the speaking/singing pianist genre, a genre he was credited with pioneering nearly thirty years ago.
