Our final concert of the season concludes with the American Modern Orchestra, featuring upstate New York’s Rochester Philharmonic conductor, Ward Stare. Violinist Bradley Adam Bascon, winner of Mostly Modern’s 1st concerto competition, will perform Korngold’s violin concerto.
We start off the program with Robert Paterson’s Dark Mountains. Mostly Modern’s ‘winner’ of our orchestra reading will have its premiere, and we end the season with John Adam’s iconic Harmonielehre.
